Taru Sandén (former Lehtinen)
Taru Sandén is a soil enthusiast who enjoys working with various stakeholders and leads the teaTime4Schools project. She holds an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and an MSc in Environment and Natural Resources from the University of Iceland. Her PhD degree in Geography, also from the University of Iceland, focused on soil aggregates and soil organic matter in agricultural soils. Currently, Taru works as a Senior Expert at the Department for Soil Health and Plant Nutrition at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES). Her works consist of TBI studies in mainly agricultural settings, as well as H2020 projects LANDMARK, FATIMA and AgriDemo-F2F.
